Bettina Siegel is one of my heroes. Lawyer, mom, healthy food activist, and savvy commentator on the (mis)deeds of the food industry. Her campaign to end pink slime in kids’ school food was inspiring. And I love her blog: thelunchtray.com.
Bettina’s latest project is a video on processed kids’ food. It’s a children’s story with a powerful message. Did you know that the food and beverage industries spend almost $2 billion a year to market mostly unhealthy products to our kids? Bettina created this short story to help young kids become a little savvier about the media messages they encounter and to get them thinking about healthful eating. Check it out!
And thanks, Bettina!!!
