Spent Sunday afternoon in my kitchen with the girls, making these classic sugar cookies…all 97 of them! For teachers, classmates, friends, and neighbors.

We learned a few things.

Dipping the cookie cutter in flour will prevent even the stickiest dough from sticking.

If the cookie is thin enough, cinnamon hearts will melt.

And, simple is best.

ps This was my older daughter’s cookie…

But when my younger daughter saw the post she wanted one of hers to be up here too!
